Rexhibit
Online art gallery
About
Rexhibit — an interactive online gallery redefining how audiences experience contemporary art.
Rexhibit delivers step-by-step curatorial insights, helping users navigate complex artworks with clarity and confidence, while giving emerging artists meaningful exposure in a digital-first platform.

My task was to design and build Rexhibit’s digital platform, including the homepage, interactive artwork exploration flows, and artist showcase pages, creating an intuitive and engaging experience that highlights the value of contemporary art.

Challenge
1.
Contemporary art can feel inaccessible—abstract works often leave viewers without clear entry points, while emerging artists struggle to reach audiences online.
2.
When our developer dropped out mid-project, I stepped in, learned Webflow on the fly, and took the build all the way to launch.
UIUX
Visual-first Layout
With 80% of users decide based on imagery, I emphasized full-bleed visuals that let artworks speak first.
Layered Interpretation
Curatorial texts were restructured into progressive layers, guiding understanding step by step without overwhelming readers.
Layered Interpretation
To counter cognitive overload from dense texts, we structured curatorial writing in progressive tiers, guiding comprehension step by step.
Interactive Exploration
To transform passive browsing into active discovery, I made keywords interactive, linking audiences to context and related works.
