Finora — a mobile banking app designed to rebuild user trust and make everyday banking simple and secure.
The app combines multi-layer transfer protection, Quick View for fast transaction monitoring, and transparent customer support, helping users feel in control and confident with their money.

My task was to designing the full user experience from research and UX/UI flows to high-fidelity screens, focusing on trust-building, clarity, and efficiency in key banking interactions.

Challenge
1.
Frequent entry errors and rising scam attempts made high-value transfers feel unsafe and stressful.
2.
Dense transaction logs made unusual activity hard to detect, slowing decisions and increasing cognitive load.
3.
Support channels lacked clarity and predictability, leaving users uncertain during urgent issues.
Process
I mapped the essential user flow and quickly turned it into lean wireframes. Then I built targeted prototypes to test only the moments that carried risk or hesitation.
Testing showed where users hesitated, misread steps, or doubted transfer safety. I refined the flow and prototypes to make each step faster, clearer, and harder to get wrong.
UIUX
Multi-layer Transfer Protection
Transfers automatically check for potential risks, display the last transfer date to the recipient, and allow cancellations within three minutes, reducing errors and user anxiety.
Quick View Mode
A condensed dashboard helps users scan recent transactions and quickly identify suspicious activity, making account monitoring faster and more reliable.
Layered Interpretation
To counter cognitive overload from dense texts, we structured curatorial writing in progressive tiers, guiding comprehension step by step.
Transparent Customer Support
Live queue progress, small persistent windows after exit, and immediate notifications when support is ready improve clarity and reduce perceived waiting time.

Reflection
This project showed me how much emotion shapes the way people handle money online. Clear steps and simple confirmations can greatly reduce users’ anxiety and help them feel in control. Designing Finora reminded me that good financial UX is really about building trust. If I continue this project, I would focus on more personalized guidance and better accessibility.
